This page is maintained by the ItCleanCare team to answer common security and privacy questions about the ItCleanCare app. It describes the controls currently in place, not an independent audit or certification. For our formal privacy policy (required by Google Play), see Privacy Policy.
Accounts & authentication
Sign-in is handled by our managed authentication provider. We support email and password, with Google sign-in available. Sessions are stored in your browser and can be ended at any time by signing out.
Admin actions in the app are gated by a server-side role check — being signed in is never enough on its own to access admin tools.
Data protection in the app
Each customer can only read and write their own profile, wardrobe items, pickups, orders, and payments. These rules are enforced at the database level, not just in the UI.
Pricing for credits, subscriptions, and add-ons is computed on the server from our published rates. The app does not accept client-supplied amounts.
Uploaded photos (wardrobe items, payment receipts, avatars) are stored on Cloudinary and served via secure HTTPS URLs.
Hosting & platform
ItCleanCare runs on Vercel with Supabase-managed Postgres, authentication, and storage. Traffic to the app is served over HTTPS.
These are platform capabilities we have enabled — not a third-party certification of ItCleanCare.
What we collect
To run the service we store your name, phone number, delivery address, the wardrobe items you add (with optional photos), pickup and order history, and payment records (amount, status, and an uploaded transfer receipt when applicable).
We do not store full bank card numbers. Bank transfers are made directly to our published business account; we only see the receipt you attach.
Cookies & analytics
The app uses cookies and local browser storage strictly to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as theme). We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

If you believe you have found a security issue with ItCleanCare, please email support@itclean.care with the subject line "Security". Please do not publicly disclose the issue before we have had a chance to respond.
